J’laiya Regan, a Las Vegas native, began as a self taught pianist and later studied at Prairie View A&M University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Music studies with a concentration in piano. At just 14 years old, J’laiya could play by ear. As she progressed, she soon became a flautist and began to read music. Though she plays numerous of instruments, her first love in music is songwriting. She has competed in a song writing competition judged by Jordin Sparks where she won 2nd place. J’laiya is also a producer, vocalist, and vocal producer. She’s written and produced for underground artists all over the country. J’laiya, also known as Jayree, is an artist herself. In 2020 She released her first song CTRL Z followed by No Love Between Us in 2021. J’laiya loves teaching and has a passionate interest in molding the minds and sparking the creativity of young musicians as this is where she began herself
